Business Development Manager at Prodigy Finance. Francisco is a Madrid based California native. He received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Whittier College in 2007 where he was awarded with the distinguished title of Outstanding Sociologist in Praxis. After graduation, Francisco joined the staff of Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina, the first Latina elected to the LA City Council and LA County Board of Supervisors.

US CORRESPONDENT OF EL MUNDO

Pablo Pardo is the US Bureau Chief of El Mundo, Spain´s second largest daily newspaper. Pablo earned his MA at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and has remained in DC working for El Mundo ever since.  He has won the Anthony Fisher Award by the Atlas Foundation, the Citi Excellent Award, by Citigroup, the Joven y Brillante (to financial journalists younger than 35), and the Cenetenrartio de la Seguridad Social, given by the Spanish Ministry of Labor.

GERMÁN PERILLA

MANSON’S BEE INITIATIVE DIRECTOR

Mason has 37 hives in the program, 12 of which are housed on the Fairfax campus and used in Perilla’s sustainable beekeeping classes. Through the Honey Bee Initiative, Perilla researches and promotes sustainable beekeeping in Northern VA and also provides outreach to rural communities in El Salvador, Peru and Colombia. In these communities, Perilla assists community members to establish their own hives which then provide environmentally sustainable sources of nutrition and income for their families.
